OUR ORGANIZATION

Kirk McGary began working in property management over 30 years ago, and he and co-founder Doug Oler, started the first-ever property management franchise in 2005. Since then, hundreds of other entrepreneurs have joined the Real Property Management organization. Along the way, we have refined systems and processes, added new technologies, built best in class training systems, and created first class marketing tools and continue to lead the industry.

Kirk McGary

Kirk McGary, Co-Founder and Chairman

Kirk McGary founded Property Management Business Solutions, LLC, franchisor of Real Property Management. He has years of property management experience, is the first to franchise property management, and is the driving force behind the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit that has made the Real Property Management brand nationally recognized as the leader in property management. Kirk earned a BS, Accounting degree and an MBA, and has experience in finance and accounting with technology companies. He received the Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award.

Doug Oler

Doug Oler, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman

Doug Oler has extensive franchising experience as a former owner/operator of several H&R Block offices, and is a visionary of the Real Property Management franchise model. He has been instrumental in negotiating national alliances to bring unique savings and business opportunities to franchise owners.

Lucas Krause

Lukas Krause, Chief Executive Officer

Lukas rose through the ranks to become CEO. He started as VP Operations, was promoted to COO, and in 2016 became CEO of the company. He has a proven track record of streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, building relationships and driving profitability. As Senior Director of Global Expansion for Quiznos, Lukas played a major role developing the international infrastructure and growing the brand to over 5,000 locations in four continents. Lukas was named among HousingWire Magazine’s 2015 Rising Stars, which acknowledges the top 40 industry professionals under age 40 who have driven their organization and the entire real estate industry

John_Godhe

John Gohde, Chief Operating Officer

With more than 30 years of experience in franchising, John is responsible for franchise development and operations. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations at BrightStar Care. Prior to that, he held executive level positions at Cosi Inc., Sears Holdings Corporation, KnowledgePoints, Inc. and Wendy’s. John attended Michigan State University majoring in Business and received his Executive Management Certification in Management from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Bob Pifke

Bob Pifke, Chief Marketing Officer

Bob Pifke brings world-class marketing expertise to the Real Property Management franchise organization. He has held several executive positions with prominent companies such as CCA Global Partners, VISA and Ogilvy, and his work experience includes every aspect of marketing. While with VISA USA, Bob was instrumental in growing the VISA debit card business from $25 billion to over $500 billion in less than 10 years.

Jennifer Potter

Tim Sedgwick, Director of National Accounts

Tim joined Property Management Business Solutions in 2012.  He has managed Strategic Alliances, conference planning, and various operations roles during his tenure.  As Director of  National Accounts, he heads up our relationships with all national partners and seeks new relationships to further solidify the Real Property Management system as the industry’s best property management organization

Phil Romney

Phil Romney, Chief Financial Officer

Phil Romney has over 35 years of accounting/finance experience in a variety of industries. Phil began his career in the Seattle office of KPMG and has since held senior leadership positions in companies in the utilities, biotech, insurance and on-line retail industries, and working most recently for Amazon.com. He is a CPA and has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting.

Valerie Mikita

Valerie Mikita, Director of Franchise Development

Valerie has 12 years of sales experience and manages our franchise development team. Prior to joining Real Property Management, Valerie spent 4 years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car working through their management trainee program into fleet management, and then spent 4 years with Northwestern Mutual selling insurance and investment opportunities. Valerie received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
